Large hand printed linocut prints of Water Lilies' on Fabriano 140 gsm paper, UNFRAMED. The print is made in hight quality Speedball PROFESSIONAL Relief Ink. Paper measures approx. 78 x 55 cm (30.7x21.6 inches). The images measure approx. 65 x 45 cm (25.6x17.7 inches).
The design of Water Lilies has been inspired by water lilies from Botanical Garden in Oxford. I live in Somerset in the UK and love British woodlands and plants! It has been hand carved out of lino to create unique blocks which I handprint the final images with. The print of Ferns has been hand burnishing without a press.
'Water Lilies' took 9 days to carve. I focused to show a depth and lights with a lot of textures. Every one is numbered and signed. This is limited edition of 50 prints.
