The design of 'The Sea' has been inspired by wild sea I've met one day during my trip to Bournemouth in Dorset. Large scale of lino block allows me to carve a lot of details and plenty of textures. It has been hand carved out of lino to create unique blocks which I handprint the final images with. The nautical print of Sea has been hand burnishing without a press.
'The Sea' took 18 days to carve. I focused to pointillism and lights and shades without hard outlines and fine lines. My purpose was to create a movement of water and show the wildness of the sea.
Every one is numbered and signed. This is limited edition of 50 prints.
