The 'Palm House' has been inspired by Palm House in Kew Gardens in London. Amazing Victorian conservatory and plenty of gorgeous plants made very strong inspiration for me!
I was focusing on details and a few scenes of drawing. The lino block has been designed as one layer and one colour print. I use high contrast between white sky and the pillar as the main part of the building in the middle and dark plants in the bottom. Dark and lights are surrounding by themselves, cooperating together showing the depth of the scene.
Sketching for 'Palm House' took over a week.
The 'Palm House' has been carved in 18 days.
Each one is signed. This is additional PROOF edition of 5 prints, the main edition of 50 prints is run out.
