This one day course will take you through the whole process of making one colour and one layer lino cut print, prints will be made by a press and by hand.
You will cut your own drawing or one suggested by Aga, working on a single piece of lino block (about A5 size).
Tutoring on this course is very much aimed at using the patterns and textures and there is plenty of one-to-one time working on developing your ideas and skills. We will learn how to make shades and gradients. Knowledge of light and shadows is welcome.
