An original, one-of-a-kind photogram capturing the delicate forms of two overlapping fern plants.
Their leaves intertwine and unfold across the image, creating a layered composition of organic shapes, textures and shadows. The soft sepia tones bring out the intricate structure of the ferns, giving the print a quiet, atmospheric quality.
Created using the historical Van Dyke Brown photographic printing process, this unique work explores the beauty of botanical forms through light and shadow.
