At its centre, the intertwined forms unexpectedly create a DNA double-helix-like rhythm, extending the original work’s exploration of natural networks into ideas of biological connection, inheritance and continuity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRather than depicting the forest as a collection of individual trees, \u003cem\u003eRootcode\u003c\/em\u003e considers it as a living network: interconnected, layered and constantly exchanging information, matter and energy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt 2.8 metres high, the work has a strong architectural presence while retaining the softness and movement of fabric.
